Lyco Ionic Jessner Peel (removes melasma, pregnancy mask & age spots).
This treatment provides a very noticeable and effective exfoliation through a combination or Resorcinol, Salicylic Acid, L-lactic Acid, Wine and Lycopene (a powerful anti-oxidant derived from watermelon seeds). This peel is deeper than AHA peels due to the combination and strengths of the peeling agents but with the modified LYCO IONIC JESSNER PEEL the client will experience less of the common Jessner side-affects, i.e. irritation, blotchy redness, and itching. The process usually requires one full week from application to completion and is great for those who are acne prone, photo damaged, hyperpigmented, fine lines or pigmentation due to acne scarring. Up to six layers of solution are applied to the skin producing a mild ‘sunburn’ effect.
After 2-3 days, the skin will darken and tighten and begin to visibly exfoliate. The final result is a brighter, evenly pigmented and healthy-looking skin. Clients will need to stay out of the sun for one-week post peel and wear UVA, UVB protection daily.
A 72-hour patch test is necessary to avoid any allergic reactions.
